Okay, so I will admit the social network element of marketing books is a bit foreign to me but…I’m trying. I’ve started creating a Facebook Page for my new Podium Sports Academy Series but haven’t got it quite completed. I am on Facebook and now have over 2000 friends. I don’t know who they are but I have friends. The publishing houses say this is important. And I blog. Well sort of. Sporatically. Haha. I’m not on Twitter yet but my daughter says she’ll set me up. What I will say or if anyone will read my “tweets” I have no idea. Then there’s all these people who want me to Linkin and Branchout. To date, I’ve ignored those because I still have to figure out Facebook. My kids have told me not to creep. Really? Me, a creeper? Haha.
Okay, so I’m going to do a little begging here. If you’re on my site right now, which you are if you’re reading this, and you’ve liked a book I’ve written go to the amazon button or Indigo or Barnes and Nobles or ALL OF THEM, (if you have time), and write a review. I’d be eternally grateful. You see, I’m supposed to be doing this too; getting reviews on these sites. I’m trying to do this social stuff. You know, I always said I wouldn’t do the “generation gap” thing when I got a bit older.
WELL…technically, I think I’m in the gap because I am just not as savy as the young folks.
BUT…I’m trying!!!!
