HOME/NEWS

Hello,

I'm the author of the Intuko/Angie Melville mystery series and children's sports novels. Hockey, of course. I live in Canada. Although, I have an idea for a volleyball book! I loved playing volleyball when I was young and even played in college. So, it's stirring and mixing and percolating! I'm excited. I'm also thinking of writing a soccer book.

And I have a few other ideas for books as well that I will work on over the summer. And one is a mystery novel. I'm still working on my mysteries.

In the meantime,

HOLDING will be out in June!!

HOLDING is the last book in my hockey series and it will be released in June. Josh, Peter and Sam have been reunited at the Okanagan Hockey School in Penticton. Josh's cousin Troy is also at the overnight camp and he is a lot more work than Josh thought he would be. I wrapped up the series with this book and I'm kind of sad. But...I'm thinking of another series!

Okay, so my Men's Paralympic book-- about Canada's sledge hockey win in 2006 in Torino--publication date has been moved, and it will be out next falll. I just finished the first draft. Next year, when I tour, I'm going to bring a sledge and the sticks they use to the schools I go to. If you're interested in booking me for next year, check out my presentations page. And I'm also working on a book on Dany Heatley for children that will be out next fall as well. Dany is a pretty incredible guy. And I've been given the green light to write about the Women's 2002 Olympic Gold Medal win. That book will hit shelves in the fall of 2009 just before the Olympics.

Check out your local book stores to pick up a copy. Or you can order any of my books from Amazon.com or Amazon.ca.

If you want to buy my books and can't find them in the bookstores you can also try Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, and Barnes and Nobles on-line. Just type in my name and all my books will show up. Go for it. Happy reading!

"Lorna's books are a great read for kids and their parents. They really teach the importance of having good values both in hockey and life. "
